Former G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence and Kid Cudi take aim at Kanye West and his associates for the mishandling of his career on the banging track, 'On My Own.'

The song is the frustrated New York rapper's kiss-off to Yeezy, who actually produced the eccentric beat, as he pursues his solo career on his own.

Cons raps on the first verse: "Let's be honest / We don't need a lie detector / Don't try to make it seem like you were once my investor / You never believed / So you ain't gotta lie to Dexter."

Kid Cudi is featured on the hook as he further assists with Cons' farewell to his former boss. "I could do it on my own, I don't have to listen to your lies, forever/ I've been movin' on my own for some time now, so I gotta say goodbye, forever," he warbles.

In an interview with Billboard, Consequence reveals that he left G.O.O.D. Music because he wasn't being recognized for his work on some of Kanye's biggest projects. "It's like when you're in somebody else's totem pole, so to speak, of course, the head is to receive the glory," he says.

Consequence is moving forward in his career with an upcoming mixtape titled 'Movies on Demand 3,' which will feature new material from the rapper.

Here's hoping that Consequence gets back to making good music. Forever.
