See Dakota Johnson’s ‘SNL’ Promo Videos

Dakota Johnson, star of the immensely popular movie Fifty Shades of Grey, is set to host Saturday Night Live this coming weekend (Feb. 28), and as is tradition with all Saturday Night Live hosts, a few promo clips have been released announcing the show.

The SNL promos usually show the host along with another cast member and sometimes the musical guest -- schedules permitting. The musical guest for the upcoming episode of SNL is the rock group Alabama Shakes, but they weren't able to be featured in the promo. We're kind of bummed about it because we seriously love them, but the good news is that it gave us some more opportunities to get some truly hilarious references to all things Dakota -- from Fifty Shades jokes to spoofing her famous dad to a recent red carpet moment Dakota had with her mom.

In the first clip, SNL cast member Taran Killam asks Dakota whether her mom, Melanie Griffith, finally saw Fifty Shades of Grey yet. Dakota whines about how she hasn't, poking fun at the clip from the 2015 Oscars red carpet where her mom was asked about the movie from a reporter. While Fifty Shades looks to be more of a drama than anything else, we have to admit that Dakota has some seriously funny dead-pan humor going on.
