Dane Cook and Miley Cyrus Aren’t Dating, Grass Is Green

Sometimes the gossip mill churns out the weirdest rumors, like all of the recent speculation that Miley Cyrus and comedian Dane Cook are together in some sort of romantic capacity. But if you're invested in the possibility of this mismatched relationship you're about to be disappointed, because Cook says there's no truth to the rumors.

US Weekly first reported that the two were “hooking up,” also revealing that they’re “longtime pals,” something probably no one knew or ever suspected. Once the rumor gained serious traction online, the Good Luck Chuck star shot down speculation when he told E! News, “I’m always the last to know these things. Just let Miley know that I’ll pick her up for dinner at 8.” What a jokester!

Miley and ex-boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger broke up earlier this year amid rumors of infidelity on his part (that were fueled by some pretty damning photos of Schwarzenegger being intimate with an ex-girlfriend). Since then, Miley’s been linked to Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell, but in a recent interview for Elle UK she made it clear that she's single.

She said, “I'm very open about it -- I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with."
