In his just-released music video, newcomer Gabe Day repeatedly refers to himself as "just another stoop kid." The truth is that the 18-year-old is also the son of legendary actor Daniel Day-Lewis. And while he doesn't want to be known for being the three-time Oscar winner's son, he just can't help himself from rapping about his famous father.

In the clip for the song 'Green Auras,' the Sarah Lawrence College student also reveals that he's bipolar and has struggled with addiction issues in the past ... and yet he also is shown smoking what looks like a blunt.

But it's his lyrics about DDL -- who left his baby mama, French actress Isabelle Adjani, before Gabe was born -- that are getting the most attention. "Call me Gabe Day and not Gabe Day-Lewis," he raps. "Cause if you're trying to call me out, I'm about to Gabe Day-Lose It!"

Funny, but his next rhyme gets a little, um, out there: "I know what my name is and I know what fame is. Judging someone for their dad is just as bad as being racist."

Hey, but who are we to judge? Day clearly has some daddy issues to work out still: "To those that think they know me because they know my dad," he raps, "He's in film, right, so my life's been more exposed than yours has."
