It might be Broadway or bust for 'Glee' star Darren Criss. According to EW, Criss, who plays gay heartthrob Blaine Anderson on the show, is currently in discussions to take over for Harry Potter, aka actor Daniel Radcliffe, in the Broadway revival of the musical 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.' Criss would obviously step into Radcliffe's Oxfords and play corporate climber J. Pierrepont Finch for a three-week stint running from Jan. 3 through Jan 22.

The moonlighting gig would cause Criss, 24, to miss the shooting schedule for 'Glee' for an episode-and- a-half. Gasp! Will co-creator Ryan Murphy allow that? He seems to run an incredibly tight ship when it comes to the show, judging by his appearances on 'The Glee Project.'

This could be a plum gig for Criss, whose background is in "musical theater," as he shot to fame after he wrote the Pottery parody 'A Very Potter Musical.' Criss co-penned the music and lyrics while toiling as a student at the University of Michigan, and even starred in the 'production,' as well. It went viral on YouTube on 2009 and here we are today, with the handsome, dark-haired actor starring on one of the hottest shows on TV. If he graduates to Broadway, even for a short run, it could launch his career into the stratosphere.
