Britney Spears’ New Boyfriend Signed a Confidentiality Agreement

It's not easy dating a celeb, and it's especially not easy dating a celeb under a conservatorship. Jason Trawick dealt with that when he was engaged to Britney Spears, and now her new boo, David Lucado, is going through many of the same trials -- but doesn't mind one bit.

Radar Online reports that Lucado had to undergo a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement with Spears' father and conservator, Jamie, before really dating the singer and former 'X Factor' fan favorite.

“Jamie has known David (Lucado) for awhile, and always thought he was a thoughtful, and an all-around good guy. Britney needed someone to keep her company after she and Jason (Trawick) broke up," a source said. She deserves a good guy!

However, the source specified that hanging out eating BonBons with her girlfriends wouldn't cut it for the 'Toxic' singer: “It had to be a male, because Britney just doesn’t respond as well to females. And remember, she is still under a conservatorship," the source noted.

“Before David started spending time with Brit, he had to undergo a background check, and sign a confidentiality agreement, all arranged by Papa Spears," the insider added. "Jamie makes sure if things go south between David and Britney, details about her life wouldn't be made public. David had absolutely no problem with it, and completely understood why it was being done.”
