Update, 11/16: Josh Harris provided a new update on the investigation into Jake Harris's alleged attackers on the Facebook page for the Cornelia Marie. Posting a screen cap of a booking receipt for a Spokane, WA area jail, a man was arrested on one charge of robbery on November 15.

"Thank you to all the awesome messages and all the help from the fans and the police department for doing such a great job," Josh wrote. "Or [sic] family thanks everyone from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you again!!!"

Jake Harris, who appeared on Discovery's reality series Deadliest Catch from 2006-2013 and is the son of late crab-fishing boat captain Phil Harris, was hospitalized after a severe beating, his brother Josh Harris revealed on November 13.

Josh Harris, who took over as captain of the Cornelia Marie following his father's passing from a pulmonary embolism in 2010, first shared the news of Jake's assault in two live updates on the Deadliest Catch - F/V Cornelia Marie Facebook page.

"I have some terrible news, my brother was jumped last night," Josh said on Sunday, November 13, "and some individuals decided to beat him pretty good." He said that Jake was in the Intensive Care Unit and said the alleged assailants "beat him to the point of where it cracked his skull" and threw him from a moving vehicle, upon which eyewitnesses spied Jake and called 911.

Josh Harris also presented a photograph on his iPhone of a Spokane, WA area man that he accused of administering Jake's beating along with a Facebook photo and name of that man's girlfriend and a possible third accomplice. He said that his brother was "currently bleeding out of his brain" and that the trio had beaten Jake and threw him onto the side of the freeway, leaving him for dead. Washington news affiliate KIRO7 reports Harris is referring to SR 526/the Mukilteo Speedway. Harris urged locals to "stay away from them."

KIRO7 reports that Jake accepted a ride home from the Quil Ceda Creek Casino near Marysville, WA. Area police confirmed the 911 call occurred, but declined to name any suspects.

Josh followed up with a second update early November 14, claiming he had spoken to the man who had beaten Jake. He hinted, though did not say outright, that it was the same man he'd accused in the previous video, and said that police were handling it from here.

As of November 14 Jake Harris was in satisfactory condition, according to KIRO7.
