Deadmau5 + Richie Hawtin to Close Out 2013 SXSW Interactive Party

Deadmau5 will be part of the stately closer for the interactive portion of the SXSW festival. The mouse-ear sporting, often mouthy DJ will perform at the SXSW Interactive Party on March 12 with Richie Hawtin.

The duo are slated to perform a somewhat stripped down techno set together at Stubb’s BBQ in Austin, Texas. Deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin will be joined by the Joy Formidable and Local Natives for the event, which kicks off at 9PM on Tuesday.

The show, sponsored by Media Temple, is open to Interactive, Gold and Platinum SXSW badgeholders.

The Interactive Party will follow Deadmau5 and Hawtin's 'Conversation,' an event at which they'll talk techno, technology, music and life. If you're lucky enough to traipse around Austin and are into EDM, you need to get your badge-totin' behind there.
