Last year, Halsey utterly dominated the charts and radio airwaves with "Closer," her collaboration with The Chainsmokers that went on to become the longest-running hit of 2016.

Will Demi Lovato see similar success with a dance floor-friendly feature of her own this year? We're about to find out.

The Confident crooner, who's steadily at work on the "soulful" follow-up to her 2015 record, returns this year in the form of a collaboration with DJ trio Cheat Codes, who rose to stardom on the electronic scene with their reworking of Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex" and Kevin Lyttle's "Turn Me On" last year.

"I just want to dive in the water with you / Baby, we can't see the bottom / It's so easy to fall for each other / I'm just hoping we catch one another," Demi coos on the cautiously optimistic ode, full of warm pulsations and beat drops perfect for soundtracking your next summer romance — and/or dance floor hook up. "Just be careful, love ain't simple / Promise me no promises."

As with some of her biggest, most floor-filling anthems like "Neon Lights" and "Unbroken," the powerhouse performer handles pulverizing synthesizers with ease. It's not exactly an innovative number, but "No Promises" sure does sound like an instant radio hit. Perhaps a turn as a disco diva is the right one to make?

"No Promises" is expected to drop this Friday (Mar. 31).
