Demi Lovato has nabbed the cover of the January issue of Nylon, showing off her blue, ombre hair and wearing mixed prints and mixed materials.

The singer's hair is blue, black and seafoam green, and she's rocking a black, white and blue fur shrug, a graphic tee, striped pants and a flannel tied around her waist. She's definitely throwing all fashion rules out the window and she looks punk rock, for sure.

In addition to covering Nylon, the singer and actress, not to mention two-term 'X Factor' judge, has notched another impressive accolade for her resume. Her book, 'Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year' is set to debut at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller List for the week of Dec. 8. The book is a year's worth of daily affirmations.

"I am beyond thrilled and so honored to have my first book reach #1 on the Best Sellers List," said the star in a press statement. "I’m so proud of this book and the positivity it urges. I’m happy so many people have been able to relate to it, because I wrote it for anyone and everyone, from all walks of life."

Things are looking good for Demi Lovato as she closes out 2013.
