While Demi Lovato captivated fans with her performance at Thursday night's Latin Grammy Awards, rumors have emerged that the singer is prepping a Spanish-language album for 2012.

Lovato and Pablo Alboran sang Alboran's ballad 'Solamente Tu,' harmonizing like they've been singing it together for years. Demi's performance was all the more amazing when you consider that she doesn't even speak Spanish. She's obviously been practicing!

Meanwhile, Billboard reported that Lovato is planning an album with Spanish versions of her English hit songs, to be produced by Edgar Cortazar and Mark Portman.

However, Billboard later quoted a Disney spokesperson who claimed the reports of a Spanish album are false. Lovato did record a Spanish version of her 'Skyscraper' single called 'Rascacielos.' It's possible that the spokesperson has bad information, or that Lovato could change her mind later, so we'll have to wait and see. Based on Lovato's performance, we'd love to see her tackle more Spanish material!
