Demi Lovato performed her hit single 'Skyscraper' live for the second time, this time on the 'America's Got Talent' stage. With her eyes closed as she sang passionately into the microphone, a few soft piano keys played during the intro of Lovato's song. As the camera zoomed out, viewers could immediately tell that an awe-inspiring stage show was about to ensue.

Lovato was seated atop a mess of broken televisions, records, windows, and other belongings that look as if the singer herself could've owned them, playing into the lyrics "you can take everything I have" in the song's chorus. The emotional connection Demi has to this song is apparent, as her expression looks as if she's truly singing from the depths of her soul in the dark-lit beginning of the stage performance.

As the song picked up, Lovato, who was dressed in all black, climbed down from the mess and metaphorical turmoil of what was her former life to give a riveting and blood-pumping live rendition of 'Skyscraper.' As the second chorus rolled around, Demi's voice grew stronger as flames shot up from behind the stage, showing that no force can burn out the songstress' strong will. Towards the end of the song, Demi impressed us even more as she took to the piano to play out the final portions of the track.

Demi Lovato will continue her string of live performances this September, with two shows scheduled for New York City and LA in the latter portion of the month. On her Twitter account, Lovato said that the shows will be huge, writing that she will be incorporating choreography and that the song she is most excited to sing is "probably a song called 'All Night Long'!"
