Demi Lovato sure knows how to make a comeback! The 18-year-old singer/actress released her brand-new track 'Skyscraper' yesterday, and in just one day, the song has conquered the top of the iTunes Singles chart.

Although Lovato has been out of the music game for some time -- 'Skyscraper' marks Lovato's first piece of new material since her album 'Here We Go Again' dropped back in 2009 -- she is showing no signs of fading into oblivion. Lovato took the No. 1 spot from LMFAO for their hit tune 'Party Rock Anthem.' Some other artists that are failed to beat out the reigning iTunes queen are Katy Perry, Pitbull and Lil Wayne.

The past few months have been difficult for Lovato. The 18-year-old has struggled with an eating disorder, addiction, and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Although these having to face these demons would bring most people down, Lovato is obviously growing from her battles and is coming out on top -- both literally and metaphorically.
