When Demi Lovato took to Twitter two weeks ago to write, "The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man,” it sent her fans into a tizzy. Breakup rumors surrounded the age-gapped duo. So what's the status of the on-again, off-again couple now?

According to recent reports, consider them on-again! Life & Style spies saw them at Hollywood club Madhouse on Jan. 18, looking mighty cozy. "Right after Wilmer arrived, he made sure to say hi to Demi, who was sitting with Kim Kardashian," a source told the mag. "He kissed both of them on the cheek, and Demi couldn't stop smiling. He kept making her laugh."

Sounds like someone's smitten! And if they ever get married someday, they may want to invite 50 Cent -- because his music brought the pair together! "Around 2 a.m., Demi grabbed Wilmer and hugged him," the source said. "They danced together to 50 Cent's 'In Da Club,' and she kept her arms around him the whole time," the spy noted. "They were facing each other, mouthing the lyrics to one another, and looked to be having a great time."

Put simply, the witness said, "They definitely didn't seem to be over each another!"

We're happy to see Demz happy, but Mr. Valderrama better treat our girl right!
