Dev and fun. Perform at mtvU Woodie Awards

Hot up and comers Dev and fun. performed separate sets at the mtvU Woodie Awards at SXSW earlier this week. The sun is shining and the crowds are popping in these videos, that's for sure. The mtvU Woodies air on Sunday, March 18 at 8 PM ET on MTV and mtvU, but you can sample some of the wares by watching these clips.

New mom Dev is looking fit in this footage, with her lemon yellow shorts and those super fashion-forward platform booties. She's also "right now" with her red dagger nails. As for her sound? Well we were psyched for a live dose of her unique blend of electro-pop, which embeds itself in your brain. She has delayed her album release for several months, due to several factors, including her pregnancy. When she performed 'Kiss My Lips,' it took control of our cranium. She manages to take a digital sound and infuse it with warmth and a pulse. No sterile laptop rock here.

Alt rock/pop heroes fun. performed with cool screens in the background, and lead singer Nate Ruess looking all sorts of summery and nautical in stripes and skinnies. It makes you want to set yourself on fire, doesn’t it?
Ruess asked for fan assistance in singing along during the final moment of the song and he was obliged.
