Today, April 18, 2012, American media icon Dick Clark died at the age of 82 after suffering a massive heart attack. Over the years, the five-time Emmy winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and renowned producer entertained Americans on the radio and on shows like 'American Bandstand,' 'New Year's Rockin' Eve,' a number of game shows like 'Pyramid,' beauty pageants and more.

Dick Clark forever changed the world of music and television, and there were many stars who took to Twitter to express their grief over the passing of the legendary onscreen personality.
