There are a lot of rich rappers and hip-hop industry insiders, but Sean "Diddy" Combs has the biggest bank account of them all, according to Forbes. The magazine recently published its list of Top Five earners in the rap game.

Thanks to his entrepreneurship and diversified portfolio, which includes interests in Sean John Clothing, the Bad Boy Worldwide record label and a joint venture with Ciroc vodka, Diddy's fortune has ballooned to an estimated $475 million.

Nipping at Diddy's heals on this list is Jay-Z, who roars into second place with an estimated worth of $450 million. Somewhat surprisingly, Dr. Dre places third, at a significantly lower clip of $125 million, which isn't too shabby for the Average Joe but is a significant drop off behind Jay-Z's number. Dre pulls in substantial income thanks his discovery and mentorship of rap greats like Eminem and Snoop Dogg.

50 Cent -- real name Curtis Jackson -- also made the list, earning $100 million. The rapper raked in a boatload of cash due to his connection to Vitamin Water. He tied with Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams for the fifth slot.
