Diddy is headed to the big-screen again, but this time he's working behind the scenes. The rap mogul has signed on as an executive producer for the football documentary 'Undefeated,' which has been nominated for Best Documentary at this year's Academy Awards. Diddy will also help produce a feature remake of the story.

The inspirational movie, which is produced by the Weinstein Company, follows a Memphis high school football team through a tough season of ups and downs -- on and off the field.

"I am excited to partner with Harvey Weinstein on this incredible project," says Diddy about his involvement with the project. 'Undefeated' is a great American story with a lot of heart and soul. It had a profound effect on me and I couldn't get it out of my mind when I saw it.  There is so much truth and so much hope in this film, and I feel passionately that everyone who sees it will be inspired."

The documentary especially hits home for Diddy as his eldest son, Justin Combs, has agreed to play for the UCLA Bruins football team next fall. And, let's keep it real, Diddy has been undefeated when it comes to being the top rap mogul in the music game.

'Undefeated' opens in limited theaters on Feb. 17.
