Sam Smith's sudden skyrocket to superstardom has been incredible to watch over the past year or so. And while he's certainly made a name for himself in his own right with international Top 10 smashes like "Stay With Me," "I'm Not The Only One" and "Lay Me Down," it's important to remember that the soulful young crooner first got his taste of the spotlight on the dance floor with the release of his massive 2012 Disclosure collaboration, "Latch."

The pressure to concoct a worthy follow-up was strong, no doubt, but it seems the gang's just gone and done it again.

"Omen" is the second single to come from the UK electronic troupe's upcoming sophomore record Caracal, following the release of "Holding On" with Gregory Porter. And today, the duo dropped their long-awaited Sam Smith collaboration, which also happens to be the second part in an ongoing visual series.

Once again, Sam's penchant for emotion-drenched melody-making and Disclosure's forward-thinking production prove to be the perfect pairing, resulting in what could very likely become an end-of-summer smash. "It must be an omen / Needed you to show me, without you I am lonely," the powerhouse crooner belts across the slick, shifting House pulsations. (That "Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-men" chant is a particularly killer earworm.)

As for the accompanying video? Eh. It's got something to do with a wild, futuristic party, some tattoos, Sam looking increasingly svelte...and a police invasion. (To be honest, I've got not a single clue what's happening in this video. Maybe the future chapters will shed some light?)

More importantly, the song's a tune. Consider this one the next important addition to your summer beach playlists.
