Dixie Chicks Announce #DCXMMXVI U.S. Tour, First in 10 Years

Earlier today, the Dixie Chicks made an important announcement: they'll be touring the United States throughout 2016 as part of their #DCXMMXVI World Tour.

But what makes this announcement all the more noteworthy is that #DCXMMXVI will mark the first time the Dixie Chicks have toured the U.S. in ten years. And to think, it's been even longer since the Chicks released their hit cover of Fleetwood Mac's iconic track "Landslide" (2002, to be exact).

Although no announcement has been made yet about new music from the group, the #DCXMMXVI World Tour extends from April 2016 (when the tour kicks off in Antwerp, Belgium) until October 2016, where it will wrap up in Los Angeles. That means the Chicks will still have plenty of time to record and release some new material, or at least debut it live.
