Rapper DMX has been accused of allegedly robbing someone at a gas station in Newark, New Jersey.

TMZ reports that a 21-year-old man spoke to police, saying that he ran into DMX at a Newark Exxon gas station early Sunday (April 5) morning -- around 12:30AM. The accuser told cops that he and DMX had a short conversation about rap music, when suddenly a member of DMX's crew threatened him with a gun and told him to hand over his cash.

According to WBAC, the 21-year-old man claims that he and his friend were asked by one of DMX's bodyguards what was in his pocket. He said, "They probably thought we had a gun, because he has his hand in his pocket - and that's how people carry if they have one. That's why he asked him what was in his pocket. Then he was like 'nah, there's nothing in my pocket.' Then he showed him the money."

He claims the money he had on hand -- a hefty amount of $3,200, reportedly from a freshly cashed check -- was then allegedly stolen by DMX. The rapper reportedly got back into his car afterward and drove off. As of yet, no charges have been filed and a rep for DMX is denying that the robbery took place.

The accuser goes on to say that cameras at the gas station would prove what happened, while DMX's lawyer, Murray Richman, says, "The allegations are unequivocally and utterly false," and that "any videotape would be dispositive."
