Dr. Dre, who has been busier with his Beats by Dre head phone collection than he has been with his long-delayed 'Detox' album, has partnered with car dealer Chrysler. The relationship was revealed at the NYC car show last week.

According to a Chrysler press release, Dre designed a speaker system for the new, 2012 model of the luxury 300S Sedan himself! The speakers are crafted to bring music studio quality audio to consumers in cars not just by adding speakers but by working with music makers themselves to reproduce sound that way it is made in the studio! Nothing sounds better than music pouring out of your car stereo speakers while on a long road trip, and Dre and Chrysler are working to make that experience an even more thrilling one.

Beats by Dr. Dre founders Dr. Dre and Interscope head honcho Jimmy Iovine (who is serving as an 'American Idol' mentor this season) worked side-by-side with the engineering team at Chrysler to design and tune the 10-speaker audio system. The resulting audio experience offers a polished and refined professional-grade studio sound. Translation: S--- sounds hot in this car!

Much like his protégé Eminem -- whose song 'Lose Yourself' appeared in a Superbowl commercial for the car manufacturer -- Dre appears in an ad for the vehicle, which boasts thunderous, bellowing speakers. With the windows up on this sleek black ride, you can still hear the recent Dre/Em collaboration 'I Need a Doctor' filling the car with its booming bass!

When Dre gets out of the car, you can hear Skylar Grey singing 'I Need a Doctor' and Dre looks square at the camera and declares, 'This is LA. This is what we do.'

The Chrysler 300S powered by Beats by Dre will arrive at dealerships this fall.
