Rapper Drake gave his first American Music Awards performance on Sunday (Nov. 20) with a super-charged showing of his latest single, 'Headlines.' The anthemic track is the first single from the Young Money artist's second album, 'Take Care.'

Backed by a seven-piece band, Drizzy was dressed in an all-black hoodie, jeans and gloves. "I be yelling out: money over everything, money on my mind / Tell them I apologize, it happened over time, they know / They know, they know, they know," he confidently rapped.

The audience was enjoying every minute of Drake's performance, including Katy Perry who was doing some sort of hand gesture to the song. Meanwhile, fellow Young Money rapstress Nicki Minaj was bopping her head and singing along to the track like a giddy little school girl.

Before closing out his performance, he thanked the AMAs for inviting him to perform. Overall, Drake has finally made it! He is now an American superstar.
