TMZ is denying reports that Drake will be arrested for his role in a violent club brawl with Chris Brown at New York's W.i.P. nightclub. According to the New York Post, police are expected to charge the Young Money artist with reckless endangerment over the incident, which has left five people injured, including Brown.

If Drake doesn't turn himself in to police, authorities plan to arrest him during his Saturday concert (June 16) at Jones Beach in New York. But TMZ says that none if it is true.

What is true, however, is that Brown, Drake and their entourage got into a nasty club fight, which left Breezy with a bloody gash to his chin. Brown reportedly needed eight stitches to the close up the wound, while his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, suffered a concussion.

Stories differ over how the brawl actually started.

According to the New York Times, an eyewitness saw Brown asked a waitress to send a bottle of champagne to Drake's table, which Drake refused. When the waitress returned the bottle to Brown, ice cubes were flung from his table and then suddenly a bottle was hurled from the same location into the crowd.

Drake's entourage then tossed several champagne bottles back, with a fourth bottle hitting Brown's bodyguard Big Pat, which sliced his head open. Then a melee ensued and five people were left bloodied and injured. Brown’s bodyguard needed at least 20 stitches and an innocent bystander, a tourist from Australia, who got hit with one of the thrown bottles, ended up with 16 stitches in her scalp.

Brown's attorney Mark Geragos says that Brown never sent a bottle of champagne to Drake. Mr. Geragos also denies reports that Drake sent a disparaging note to Brown about Rihanna, who, reportedly, may have been the cause of the brawl.

“There was no note. There was no bottle of champagne sent over," said Geragos. “Clearly this was orchestrated by Drake.”

Meanwhile, police said the fight started as Brown, his girlfriend and his bodyguards were departing the club when they were approached by Drake's entourage. "What’s your problem with Drake?” they replied as they took off their shirts as if they wanted to fight.

As far reports that gunshots were heard during the brawl, police say those were sounds of champagne bottles crashing on the floor, not gunfire.

Authorities have yet to interview Drake about the incident and have not made an official arrest in the case.
