While on his U.S. leg of his Club Paradise Tour, Drake made a surprise visit at the Martin Luther King Magnet school in Nashville on Friday (Feb. 17). The rap superstar delivered an inspiring speech to students about pursuing his dreams and goals in life.Drizzy also revealed something that we think most people didn't know -- he never graduated from high school. "My inspiration in life is my family and my friends," he told the students. He then added, "If I could do two things in my life that I have never done is, one, learn how to play the piano. And two, I put this on my life, be able to bring my mother a high school diploma."

Drake then gave students one more surprise -- 10 tickets to his Club Paradise show that night at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Before he left, he reminded the kids to follow their dreams because "you never know what could happen."

Props to Drake for being so candid in his talk with students and admitting that he was a high-school dropout. We hope that he eventually pursues his high-school diploma because that would be a great way to show teens that education is very important.

Drake is currently on his Club Paradise Tour in the United States through March 11. He will also embark on a European leg of the trek beginning March 24 in Dublin, Ireland.
