Drummer Without Forearms Plays Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’

If Carly Rae Jepsen needs a drummer for her live performances, she knows where to turn. The latest viral video on YouTube is that of a young drummer who pounds out the beat to Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe.’
What makes the video special is that 20-year-old Cornel Hrisca-Munn was born with no forearms and a deformed leg. That doesn’t stop him from playing the drums to a recording of the familiar pop song, which rises to No. 7 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100. Hrisca-Munn’s impressive video has attracted more than 100,000 views in its first week online.
The drummer has been posting performance videos on YouTube for some time. The Oxford University student was born in Romania and given days to live, according to the Telegraph, before being adopted by a British couple. He tweeted about how he feels about all the recent attention:
Quite enjoying the ridiculous number of views / offers from companies because of my vids, although really just wanna go home and play FIFA.
