Where would one be without their besties for backup?

When it comes to deleting a dud from her life, Dua Lipa knows a thing or two about setting physical and emotional boundaries — and indulging in some fancy footwork alongside her BFFs while doing so.

The fast-rising English pop princess is back today (Jul. 7) with her fifth solo single "New Rules," an obvious standout and fan favorite from her newly released self-titled debut LP.

Filmed at The Confidante in Miami Beach and directed by Henry Scholfield, who also shot "Lost In Your Light," the clip sees the singer and her crew commiserating post-break up, just as any normal group of friends would do: by executing a heavily choreographed routine throughout the rooms and hallways of the hotel.

Later on, the troupe takes their synchronized circle of emotional protection to the pool, where Dua very briefly transforms into Duasus Christ and walks on water. (No shock there, really.)

And by the end — spoiler alert! — it's Dua herself doing the protecting. Because, after all, a solid friendship ain't no one way street. Also: flamingos!

The end result is a fierce show of female empowerment, recalling Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," Dannii Minogue's "You Won't Forget About Me" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Boy Problems" — and certainly one of Dua's most memorable visuals to date.

"I wish I had ["New Rules"] when I was breaking up with someone. I think it’s something everyone can relate to," Dua said of the song. Amen to that.
