Ed Sheeran and Austin Mahone both brought it back to the '90s and early 2000s recently, covering Backstreet Boys and Craig David, respectively. Whose throwback cover was better?

Ed Sheeran did such an epic mashup of his hit 'Runaway' and BSB's 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back)' that the Boys themselves even reached out to the redheaded Brit to praise him. Seriously, Sheeran can perform just about anything and make it amazing, so when it's already a nostalgic fan favorite, he can really get to work. Check out his BSB cover below!

Austin Mahone recently hopped on Pia Mia's cover of Craig David's 'Fill Me In,' and it was basically like the song was made for his vocals. Austin's voice already has a '90s/early 2000s throwback sound, so when he actually performed an early '00s hit he was totally in the zone, hittin' the smooth R&B groove with his even smoother pipes. Sigh! Check out his Craig David cover below.
