Considering that all the cabbies have to endure—drunk twenty-somethings and ornery travelers, just to name a few—nobody deserves an exclusive, small-scale concert by one of pop's biggest acts than they.

This morning (July 10), none other than Ed Sheeran hopped into a black taxi beside Capital FM's Dave Berry, who offered to give the artist a lift to his show at Wembley Stadium. Perhaps because he was short on cash, Sheeran covered the fare with renditions of "Eye of the Tiger" and "Oops I Did it Again," and let us say, we're very glad he did. Don't forget to tip!

Then, Berry went in for the kill, and asked the singer about the state of his relationship. But, fresh off of a breakup, Sheeran said there was very little to report.

"The day after it ended, I was in the Middle East, Asia, South America, New Zealand—I was just gone," he says in the clip above. "I had no time to kind of settle with it...I haven't had time to sit back and reevaluate my personal life."

Thankfully, though, the gloom soon subsides in the video, and between the camera-snaps of passersby who spot Sheeran through his passenger window, the man delivers an updated version of his hit "Thinking Out Loud."

"When the cab don't drive like it used to before / On the road now to Wembley," he croons. Keep this in mind for your next trip to the karaoke bar.

Watch the clip, and tell us if you're into the new "Thinking Out Loud" rendition!
