Ed Sheeran fans who have been clamoring for new music from their hero.
Today (Nov. 5), the British singer-songwriter released a
brand-new song written for the upcoming Peter Jackson movie 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' The track, called 'I See Fire,' will be heard over the film's end credits. It is his first new solo music in more than two years. Ed excitedly announced the news in a series of tweets, making sure to thank the Oscar-winning director for allowing him to participate in the project, the second movie in the 'Hobbit' trilogy.
