Pop stars are used to meeting fans who are more than ecstatic to see them. But what happens when these musicians meet their idols? Well, for Ed Sheeran, he couldn't help but be excited when he shared the stage with the legendary Rolling Stones on Saturday night (June 27).

The "Don't" crooner joined the iconic rockers during their performance of "Beast of Burden," which is off the Rolling Stones' 1978 album, Some Girls. Walking onstage with his acoustic guitar, Ed kept his cool (at least he tried to) while playing the instrument. Then during the chorus, he joined Stones frontman Mick Jagger on the mic. Although he did a great job and didn't fumble, Ed was smiling from ear to ear during the entire performance, which was too adorable.

Ed is one of a number of artists, like AWOLNATION, Walk the Moon and Kid Rock, who have taken part in the Stones' "Zip Code Tour".

After the performance both acts hopped on social media to share their thoughts of the performance along with some other behind-the-scenes visuals including a selfie of Ed with the band. You can see them below.
