Ed Sheeran Hangs at ‘Sesame Street’ [PHOTOS]

Ed Sheeran made some new friends the other day while hanging at one of the most famous streets in America – 'Sesame Street.'

Sheeran posed with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and the crew while visiting and performing the other day. Even Oscar the Grouch got in on the fun and likely couldn't resist the charms of the British singer and songwriter.

The 'Lego House' hitmaker posted the pics on his Instagram feed, giving his legion of teenage female fans another reason to go nuts.

Honestly, Sheeran fit right in, since he's as colorful as the inhabitants of 'Sesame Street.' Thanks to his ginger hair and bright tattoos, Sheeran blended in flawlessly with Elmo's red fur, a well as Grover's and Cookie Monster's blue coats.

We bet he had terrific musical chemistry while playing the Streeters. They should totally play a gig together -- Ed Sheeran and The Sesame Street Band. That has quite a ring.

Overall, it's been a good couple of days for Eddie S. He has a new GF, he's been playing sold out gigs at MSG in NYC and he visited 'Sesame Street.'
