All That Glitters Isn’t Gold in Ella Henderson’s ‘Mirror Man’ Video

Ella Henderson captures the emotions of a relationship falling to pieces in her new video for "Mirror Man."

The stunning visual features Ella in a long black dress (and amazing winged eyeliner), belting about the guy that let her down. We've all been there, so it's especially gratifying to see her present the dilemma in such a gorgeous way. As the video progresses, everything dissolves into a striking, glittery sandstorm.

Earlier this year, Ella spilled the details about the video to PopCrush, saying, "I think it’s going to be another side of me that not many people have seen yet. It’s quite graphic, quite edgy and also I got to use the director Collin Tilley for it. He’s directed incredible music videos in the past, so it was fun working with him. It involves a panther, a live black panther we had on set."

Yep, that's right. A panther. When you watch the video, you'll see that the cat is graceful and fierce, so we'd understand if Ella was completely terrified working with him. But she laughed off any nerves, telling us, "Oh, I didn’t go too close to it. They definitely like meat. [Laughs] So we couldn’t go too close to him … He was really cute. He was beautiful though. He had amazing eyes."

Um, yeah. We'd still be scared. Luckily her fear doesn't show at all!

"Mirror Man" appears on Ella's 2014 debut album Chapter One, released last October.
