Elle Macpherson's famous bone structure has remained flawless over the years; her funny bone, conversely, seems to have disappeared.

The supermodel appeared on a five-episode, Season 6 Friends arc between 1999 and 2000, during which she played the temporary roommate of Matt LeBlanc's Joey, Janine LaCroix. Janine was a dancer who initially resisted Joey's charms, but eventually gave in and dated him. She also called Matthew Perry's Chandler "boring" and Courteney Cox's Monica "loud" which was entertaining. Anyway, she hated doing it, she's since decided!

Macpherson told Australia’s TV Week that she isn't to keen on still being a TV staple 12 years after Friends went off the air. Friends is still in syndication on TBS, Nick at Nite and elsewhere, and she says people continue to identify her as Janine.

"If I’d known how important it was in the U.S., or how long it would be on TV, I may not have chosen to do it," she said. “It was a lot of pressure if you look at it in the way that it will be around for 20 or 30 years."

"[My son and his friends] know me as Janine LaCroix and they are always like, 'Oh you know, Cy's [mom] she is on Friends," she added. "They haven't figured out it was nearly 20 years ago."

Macpherson has since appeared on four television shows including America's Next Top Model, and hosted Saturday Night Live in 1996, but these are evidently less burdensome in retrospect.
