Prince William and Kate Middleton are now officially husband and wife, and Idolator [via The Daily Mail] reports that Ellie Goulding will serenade them with Elton John's 'Your Song' at the wedding reception today.

The news of Goulding's appearance follows earlier reports that Jay-Z and Beyonce were invited to team up for a royal wedding performance. But the Daily Mail says Goulding will be the only musician to perform.

The British singer-songwriter recorded 'Your Song' as a bonus track on the US version of her debut album 'Lights.'

Goulding has scored a number of hits in the U.K. over the past three years and own the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards. 'Lights' was released in March 2010 in the UK and last month in the US.

Goulding is in the middle of a big push to break through in the US, and this high-profile appearance can't hurt. She'll be the musical guest on the May 7 episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' and she's on the bill for Lollapalooza.
