Ellie Goulding and Justin Timberlake are both incredible talents in their own rights, and now we can see (or, rather, hear) what they may come up with should they ever join forces. The British chanteuse performed a cover of the Renaissance man's new classic 'Mirrors,' and it was just as beautiful as you'd expect.

Goulding performed her stripped-down rendition on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today (Sept. 3).

Goulding's haunting lilt is accompanied by background singers, a piano, an acoustic guitar and not much else. Her vocals are just as powerful as Timberlake's, if (obviously) in a much higher register and with her clear, adorable U.K. accent.

Goulding always sings with feeling, too. Wonder if she had Ed Sheeran on her mind when she recorded this cover!
