Emile Hirsch Expecting Baby With an Old Flame

Emile Hirsch is going to be a daddy! An ex of the 28-year-old 'Into the Wild' star is expecting their first child.

An insider told the New York Daily News, "She is five and a half months pregnant now, but they are not dating. His friends know about it. He is doing the right thing and will be taking care of her and his baby financially."

Though Hirsch plans on being a good father and an upstanding young man in the sitch, he and the lady are not an item currently. "He will definitely be in her life and wants to be a part of the baby's life. He's told all his friends about it and it's fine. He plans to be in the kid's life.”

As for his relationship with the baby's mother, the source explained, "They're friends and they're young and they're figuring it out." Another source added to Us Weekly, "He's trying to be a good guy in the situation. He still has love for the girl -- it's just his schedule and life did not fit in with having a relationship."
