Emily Valentine chose to sing Pink's 'Sober' for her blind audition on 'The Voice,' yet her performance gave a couple of coaches a nice buzz.

"People are definitely surprised when they hear my voice," said the 23-year-old tattooed blonde from Hollywood, Calif. before her performance. "People, in general, make judgments based on appearance that I'm happy to contradict."

The show's producers had a little fun with Valentine's appearance by not showing her full face until halfway through her raspy rendition of 'Sober,' when coach Blake Shelton chose to hit his approval button and turned around. Cee Lo Green followed suit, leaving Valentine to choose between the two coaches.

"I have a lot of famous friends and Pink is one of them," said Cee Lo. "I know that you love that song and believe in those words, and I commend you." Shelton tried to convince Valentine to join his team, but she ultimately picked Cee Lo.
