It's not unusual for Eminem to take stabs at people, though sometimes, it's unprecedented. In the new Bad Meets Evil track 'A Kiss,' Em references Lady Gaga as a 'male lady,' which started a bit of a buzz in the monster world. Slim Shady clarifies in a new interview that his jab was for comedic value only -- he respects the goodness of the Gaga.

"Oh, I think Lady Gaga … As as artist, she's undeniable. That was one of them things where, sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world. You know what I'm saying?" the 38-year-old rapper stresses to VladTV.

Three minutes into 'A Kiss,' Em churns the line, “Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She’s still a male lady.” Rest assured, there are no hard feelings between the 'Born This Way' superstar and the Bad Meets Evil rap genius.

He adds, "It was just one of them things, man. It's all in fun; it's hip-hop. It is what it is, but as far as an artist, she's dope -- she's an incredible talent."

Bad Meets Evil's latest EP, ‘Hell: The Sequel,’ drops today, June 14.
