Eminem Visits Terminally Ill Fan at Home

Rapper Eminem is known pretty equally for his talent as well as his controversial lyrics. But he's now being recognized for fulfilling the wish of a dying fan -- which is interesting when you consider the fact that Eminem didn't publicize the meeting at all.

According to a report by TMZ, 17-year-old Gage Garmo was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma -- a terminal form of bone cancer that has left him with a week to live. His friends, obviously well aware of the fact that Gage is a huge Eminem fan, decided to try and get the hashtag #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem trending on Twitter.

We're not sure exactly how Eminem found out, but the power of social media is pretty obvious in this case. He reportedly organized a meeting with Gage at his home in Michigan, and was able to meet him this past Sunday (Jan. 11). Eminem apparently did not want media outlets to find out about the visit, instead choosing to meet with Gage pretty quietly.

The visit -- which apparently lasted around an hour or so -- clearly meant quite a big deal to Gage, who has reportedly been overjoyed ever since.
