In a brand new sneak peek of Disney's upcoming live action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, Emma Watson, who plays Belle alongside her Beast-ly co-star Dan Stevens, gets into character by performing a live reading of a portion of the film's script — and boy oh boy does it give us the Disney magic tingles!

As iconic music from the 1991 animated version swells, Watson-as-Belle's voice is overheard.

"What are you reading?" she asks, as the clip reveals the film's cast seated around a table.

"Nothing," Stevens-as-Beast replies in a gruff growl.

"Guinevere and Lancelot," Watson notes, before he corrects her: "King Arthur and the Round Table."

"It's still a romance," she offers.

"Mmh," Stevens grunts. "Felt like a change."

Aside from the reading, the special video reveals imagery from the forthcoming movie, including photos and sweeping shots of the ballroom, Lumiere and Cogsworth, the enchanted rose and the castle.

Director Bill Condon also makes a brief appearance to justify the live action reimagining of Disney's classic '90s fairy-tale.

"When something is so perfect, why get near it?" he asks, a valid question.

"The answer is technology has caught up to the ideas introduced in that movie," Condon adds, referring to the beloved anthropomorphic characters and special effects featured in the 1991 film.

The film, which will be released March 17, 2017, also stars Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and Ewan McGregor as Lumiere. A special preview will be released on September 6.
