The wait is over for Evanescence fans! Not only did the band announce that they were releasing a self-titled comeback album due out on Oct. 11, which will include the single ‘What You Want,’ leading lady Amy Lee told MTV the band would be going on tour in support of their new album come this fall.

While the complete list of dates has not been released, Lee did a few details on some of the band’s destinations on their upcoming tour.

“We're doing Rock in Rio on the 2nd, and then Puerto Rico on I think the 6th. That’s gonna be awesome," she tells MTV. "We’ve never played Puerto Rico. I constantly meet Puerto Rican fans. They’re like, ‘Please play Puerto Rico.’ So I’m so excited to do that."

She adds: "And then right after that's the beginning of the tour; the tour will start there, we'll come back to the States, do a few weeks in the bigger cities, and then go do the same thing in Europe, and then the next thing will happen."

A spokesperson for the band’s label, Wind Up Records, told MTV the band will officially release a complete list of tour dates in two weeks. Lee also took to her Twitter to ease some of the band’s more anxious fan’s nerves saying, “Guys, the tour dates that have been announced are only the beginning! Don't be sad if you don't see a date in your town yet! We're coming!!”

Evanescence is coming back with a vengeance after going on a four-year hiatus following the departure of guitarist John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray in 2007.

The band has yet to release a full-version of their single ‘What You Want’, but from the small taste we’ve been given, we’re sure it will be a hit!
