From 1996, the year he launched his record label Roc-A-Fella Records and build a rap empire, Jay-Z has graced the cover of almost every major publication that has existed in print. That's 16 years of magazine cover worthiness, including, most recently, the South Africa edition of GQ magazine's March 2012 issue.

The good folks at Hip-HopWired have curated an impressive gallery featuring every magazine cover Hov's mug been featured on. From underground rap magazines like Stress and Beat·Down (full disclosure: this writer was the music editor for the mag), to major publications like Vibe, Rolling Stone, XXL and Fortune, Jay has done them all.

In total, there are 67 print titles in which Jay-Z has graced the cover. Although the gallery looks definitive to us, the website encouraged their readers to give them a heads up on any magazines they missed and they would gladly add it to the tally.

Granted, clicking on 67 links is quite annoying and time consuming, but we think it's worthy of your attention.
