The Favorite Male Artist nominees for the 2014 People's Choice Awards might be the most varied of any category. Avicii, Blake Shelton, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Michael Bublé all represent very different music, but which artist should win?

Swedish DJ and producer Avicii has been gaining momentum over the past few years, but 2013 was major for him. After being nominated for a Grammy for his work on 'Levels,' Avicii released one of the year's biggest songs, 'Don't Wake Me Up.' The artist also collected an EMA and an AMA this fall, rounding out a great year.

From music to 'The Voice' to his hilarious Twitter feed, Blake Shelton seems to be everywhere -- not that we're complaining! The charismatic country singer dropped his eighth studio album in March and celebrated multiple number one singles. Blake proves he's got what it takes to be successful. After all, he's mentored three consecutive contestants on 'The Voice'!

Since crooning his way into the hearts of millions with 'Just the Way You Are,' Bruno Mars has been a force in the pop music world! It seems he always has a single in the Top 10, including 'When I Was Your Man,' 'Gorilla' and 'Treasure.' As 2013 winds down, things are only picking up for the singer. He was recently confirmed to be performing during the 2014 Super Bowl halftime show.

What more is there to say about the artist who released not one, but two albums in 2013? Justin Timberlake suited up for a huge year, which he kicked off with a Jay-Z collaboration. There's more to JT than a slew of hit singles. (Although we love those as well!) He appeared in a week-long stint with on 'Jimmy Fallon,' flaunting his sense of humor and a cappella skills.

2013 was an exciting year for Michael Buble, both professionally and personally. The singer dropped his eighth studio album in April. The record's lead single, 'It's a Beautiful Day' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The new dad welcomed his first child, son Noah, in August.
