Taylor Swift is one of the more reserved celebrities out there, but she is quite daring when it comes to her classy wardrobe choices. Swift isn't afraid of stepping out in bold (but always chic) designs, from the brocaded gown she wore to the 2012 Grammys to the sequined sheer number she rocked at the 2012 CMAs. Out of these six standout dresses Swift sported on the red carpet in 2012, which one has your favorite?

At the 2012 Grammys, Ms. Swift, who celebrates her 23rd birthday today (Dec. 13), stunned on the red carpet in nude-colored, silk, mermaid-style gown by Zuhair Murad with gold brocade details. Later on in the year, at the 2012 Billboard Awards, Swift once again had everyone's head turning in a red Elie Saab gown with a sheer, lacy bodice.

The 2012 ACM Awards also saw another fashion high-point from the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer. She showed up in a white J. Mendel gown that hugged all of her curves beautifully. The gown also boasted some metallic gold embellishments, a plunging back, and side cutouts, as well. She followed up this look with a red and champagne-colored gown by Jenny Packham at the 2012 CMA Awards, which featured bright floral beading and a sexy sheerness.

Throughout 2012, it seemed as if Taylor Swift has grown out of the gold she loved so much in 2011, but she did wear a lot of white and off-white this year. The last two gowns pictured above are Swift's MTV EMAs ensemble and her ARIA Awards dress. She went for a figure-clinging, slinky, geometric sparkler at the EMAs, another design by J. Mendel. Meanwhile, at the ARIA Awards, Swift chose a flowing, lace-detailed, Grecian-inspired gown by Elie Saab. The creamy color was a gorgeous complement to her skin, and she looked very "va va voom" in an old Hollywood glamour sort of way.
