Fifth Harmony Dubbed ‘Most Powerful Girl Group’ By ‘Seventeen’
Whether you agree with that statement or not (and, admittedly, it’s a bold one to make about a group who formed as recently as 2012), Fifth Harmony did have a pretty stellar 2015: Their single “Worth It” has sold over 1 million downloads and helped earn them household name status.
Billboard even named them their Group of the Year in 2015, with co-president Janice Min saying, “Fifth Harmony defines the consummate group dynamic: five women with a strong, united voice and a commitment to celebrating female empowerment. In the few short years since they formed on The X Factor this diverse group of women has managed to make chart-topping music, develop a legion of passionate fans around the world and use their platform to promote self-esteem.”
The group is currently gearing up to set the stage for their second album. While official details surrounding the release are scarce, the group recently changed their entire management team and are currently signed to Maverick Management, a joint venture between Guy Oseary and Live Nation. Powerhouse managers Larry Rudolph, Ron Laffitte and Gee Roberson are all part of the team, so the girls are in good hands.
