Even though Fifth Harmony placed third on Thursday night's finale of 'X Factor,' the all-girl group need not fear for their futures in the music biz, because it looks like their mentor Simon Cowell is about to give them a helping hand!

Hollywoodlife.com was on hand for the finale and had the chance to speak with Cowell himself, and the big-time industry man revealed a darling little secret in the form of a potential record deal, which is sure to make all Fifth Harmony fans squeal in excitement.

“There is such a market now for this girl band I believe, I think where there’s boybands there’ll be girl bands," said Cowell. "We may have someone who can fit that gap!”

And while this proves especially good for the girl group in a time where boy bands are on the rise yet again, they're not alone in signing a contract! Another of Cowell's groups from 'X Factor' will also be getting a record deal, and it's none other than heartthrobs Emblem3!

With the news of both contracts coming around Christmastime, not only does it make it the perfect gift for each member of the respective bands, but also for those who are about to come into some money during the holiday season.

It looks like pop music is about to explode in 2013 -- as if it could explode anymore given One Direction's insane fame. So save your cash, guys! New music seems to be heading our way very soon!
