‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Sex Scenes Will Make Up One Fifth of Movie

According to a report by the Sunday Times (via the Hollywood Reporter), the upcoming 'Fifty Shades of Grey' film is set to have around 20 minutes worth of sex scenes. Roughly speaking, that equates to about one fifth of the entire film being devoted solely to the intimate relations between Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey. We already knew the film wasn't anything near close to being family friendly, but it doesn't look like you'd want to watch it with your fully grown, adult children, either.

At the same time, though, for a book that is, apparently, nearly all erotica (or so we've heard), we're a little surprised that sex scenes don't comprise 80% of the movie, instead. We suppose there does have to be some character development and maybe even a plot to move things along, right?
