Flavor Flav says in a new interview that he spent about $2,600 a day on drugs for six years, which, if accurate, means Flav went through about $5.7 million worth of the stuff.

"Yeah, I was spending $2,600 a day, for six years, every single day," he says. "I don't know how much that is but if you did the math, wow, I went through a lot of money. If I did the math I'd probably be shocked on how much money I spent, I'd probably punch myself in the face."

The math adds up to nearly $5.7 million, assuming Flav's estimate is correct. The Public Enemy and star of VH1 reality series 'The Surreal Life' and 'Flavor of Love' has acknowledged using crack and cocaine in the past.

Flav credits MC Hammer for helping resurrect his career, saying that he wasn't going to appear on 'The Surreal Life' until the 'U Can't Touch This' rapper encouraged him to do it.

"I figured it was for has-beens. At that time I didn't consider myself a has-been, I considered myself still hot. I asked MC Hammer for his advice and he said I should do it because if I do it, then great things could happen afterwards like it did for him, and he was right."

Flav has been hitting the talk show circuit to promote his new memoir 'Flavor Flav: The Icon.' Last night, he dropped by Conan O'Brien's show and presented the host with his very own dental grill.
