Flavor Flav was pulled over in Las Vegas over the weekend and arrested for four outstanding warrants. TMZ reports the arrest occurred around 11PM on Friday.

The 52-year-old Public Enemy rapper, born William Drayton, Jr., had warrants that included driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance. He was booked and released.

As you might have guessed, Flav has not exercised his right to remain silent on the matter and has instead chosen to 'Fight the Power.' He took to Twitter to explain his side of the story:

"I was on my way home from Benihana's, I got pulled over by a curious rookie a-- cop ... he found out I had a traffic warrant, wanted to make a name for himself, took me in and now I'm home laying my bed. what's the big deal?! ... At least, I cleared up my s---- ...some people are still on the run!"

Flav's arrest comes only a week after the news that he's closing his chicken joint in Iowa. But now that he's settled his warrants in Las Vegas, he can proceed with his plans to open a new chicken spot there at the end of the month. Nothing can hold Flav back from his fried chicken dreams!
